Q: What do you do at Natech?

For the most part, I work with the pad printer, clean the printer, clean the floors and clean the machines. Time goes by fast when I’m working at the printer because I really love working with the machine.

Q: What’s your favorite part about working at Natech?

I think everything, because the group of people working here are very nice. If you don’t understand something, people will help you learn how to do it.

Q: What is something that most people might not know about you?

I have a big a family; I actually have 13 siblings. And we all live on Long Island!

Q: How did you start your career in manufacturing?

I started working when Natech started. I worked with only three people at this company. I worked for about three or four years, but I had an accident, so I had to take time off. I think the first time I started at Natech was in 2000.

I always worked in the manufacturing space. I like this industry because I think it really helps people. The parts we make have medical uses and they’re used in hospitals.

Q: What do you like to do in your free time?

I like to go to the park, play soccer, go to the cinema, and go bowling with my daughter. My daughter’s name is Juliana and she’s 7 years old. She’s really cute and she’s really intelligent, so I’m really proud of her. Right now, she’s in school, so we do homework together, which is really no fun, but we do it anyways. Every day, we get to read books and talk a lot with each other.

Q: What motivates you?

You know, when we weren’t able to work because of COVID last year, I stayed home for six months. But when I could come back, I was so happy. It’s nice because every day I wake up in the morning and think, I want to come and work. I really feel good in this company. I think it’s the best company I’ve worked at in my life because I feel this is my second home and everybody is working together to accomplish our goals.

I remember when I interviewed her for the position, she concluded with “I will do whatever it takes to get the job.” When she told me this, I knew that I needed to hire her because she showed determination and a high desire to get the job. It’s rare to interview people with this type of determination and persistence. I was not wrong when I made the decision to hire her.

Q: What are your favorite Natech memories?

The Christmas lunch is always really fun. Being able to eat and talk to each other during the holidays is nice.

Q: What’s one thing that you can’t live without?

My daughter. She’s really happy all the time, likes to joke around a lot, and she makes me really happy too. She always tell me that she loves me. In the morning, she gives me a kiss and says, “Mom, good luck with your job. Remember to be nice to people.”

Q: What are three traits that define you?

I think my personality defines me. I’m a bit silly, I’m a good listener, and I’m a happy person.

Q: How would you describe Natech?

It’s the best company. It’s very interesting and it’s a very unique opportunity to work at a place like this.

Q: Why do you feel proud to work at Natech?

I am able to learn so many things. I learn how to work with people, learn about the material the parts are made from, and learn about how the parts we make are useful.
